Starting in 2018, the IEEE International Conference on Cloud and Autonomic Computing (ICCAC) is merged with the IEEE International Conference on Autonomic Computing (ICAC) with a main focus on autonomic computing issues. ICCAC was established in 2012 with a focus on autonomics and cloud computing. The first ICCAC conference was held in 2013.
In 2017, the Steering Committees of ICAC and ICCAC, after much deliberations, decided to bring these two research communities together to form a stronger autonomic computing research community.
